To secure enterprise apps, Huawei provides the BYOD SDK (a security package). Enterprise apps with the BYOD SDK integrated can have various security features.
Then how to rapidly integrate the BYOD SDK into enterprise apps? Wrapping is the best choice.
Making Access Certificate
Access certificates are required for devices and the AE to establish SSL connections. The access certificates include the server CA certificate and server certificate.
Determine whether you need to make certificates based on the types of devices used by the enterprise, which is irrelevant to the purchased service license.
For iOS devices, you must make certificates.
For Android devices: You can use the default certificate or make certificates.
For iOS+Android devices, you must make certificates.
Server CA Certificate
Applying for Apple Certificate
There are four Apple certificates:
Enterprise Release Certificate and Provision Profile: are used for customizing the AnyOffice client. If the two certificates are not used for AnyOffice client customization, the AnyOffice client cannot be installed on iOS devices.
Push Certificate: The AE uses this certificate to push messages (such as app screen-lock) to AnyOffice clients.
MDM Certificate: The AE uses this certificate to push control messages (such as device screen-lock) to devices (not the app).
Before applying for the certificates, you also need to prepare the Apple ID, D-U-N-S number, and enterprise development account.
iOS apps: iOS apps must be customized. Otherwise, the apps cannot be installed in iOS devices. You can use the enterprise release certificate and provision profile to customize iOS apps.
Android apps: Determine whether to customize Android apps according to enterprise requirements. You can customize apps to satisfy customer requirements, such as setting the client logo and welcome page.
You can customize the self-service page to display personalized flags of the enterprise on the self-service page.
